What Is CMAS?
The California Multiple Award Schedules program is a procurement program administered by the California Department of General Services.
CMAS provides California state and local government agencies access to a pool of approved suppliers offering information technology products, services, commodities, and other solutions.
Rather than requiring agencies to begin every procurement process from the ground up, CMAS provides an established contracting framework that can help simplify the purchasing process.
For agencies evaluating Kaseware, this means there is now an additional procurement path available for acquiring Kaseware products and services.
Modernize Investigations With Kaseware
Kaseware brings the systems, information, and workflows investigators rely on into a single secure platform. Purpose built for complex investigative environments, Kaseware helps government organizations improve how information is collected, managed, analyzed, shared, and acted upon.
Kaseware gives investigative teams a centralized environment to manage cases from intake through resolution. Agencies can organize incidents, subjects, activities, tasks, documents, notes, and investigative workflows in one place, helping teams maintain consistent processes while reducing reliance on disconnected systems and manual work. With greater visibility across active and historical investigations, supervisors and investigators can stay aligned, track progress, and manage complex cases more efficiently.
Kaseware helps agencies securely manage the records, documents, property, and digital evidence associated with investigations. Teams can organize and retrieve critical information within the context of each case, making it easier to understand how records, evidence, people, and events are connected. Centralized management also improves information accessibility, strengthens accountability, and helps agencies maintain more consistent control over investigative materials throughout the lifecycle of a case.
Kaseware helps investigators and analysts turn large volumes of information into actionable intelligence. Advanced search, link analysis, geospatial capabilities, dashboards, and reporting tools allow teams to identify relationships, recognize patterns, and uncover connections that may otherwise remain hidden across disconnected data. By bringing investigative data and analytical capabilities into the same environment, agencies can move more efficiently from information collection to analysis and informed decision making.
Kaseware extends investigative visibility through integrated open source intelligence capabilities powered by OSINT Combine. Teams can collect, organize, analyze, and operationalize publicly available information alongside the rest of their investigative data, helping analysts develop a more complete picture of people, organizations, events, and emerging threats. Bringing OSINT directly into investigative workflows reduces fragmentation and enables teams to connect external intelligence with internal records and case information more effectively.
Kaseware enables investigators, analysts, supervisors, and authorized partner organizations to work together within a controlled and secure environment. Role based access, permissions, auditing, and information sharing capabilities help ensure users can access the information they need while maintaining appropriate safeguards around sensitive investigative data. This allows agencies to improve coordination across teams and jurisdictions without sacrificing the accountability, visibility, and security required for mission critical government operations.
