Welcome to Our Newest Team Member!

Kaseware’s New Account Executive

We’re ecstatic about our newest hire Stephen Delp — Account Executive! As a veteran and seasoned public safety technologist, we couldn’t ask for a better fit. Welcome to the Kaseware team Stephen.

Stephen’s Story

I am the newest member of the Kaseware team and I am thrilled to be here! There are many reasons why I joined the Kaseware team, but one reason ranks high above the rest: who our customers are. A teacher once said to me: “Life is work. Making your work count is a key part of making your life count.” Kaseware customers are the people whose work counts, and I feel incredibly lucky to enable these organizations.

Life is work. Making your work count is a key part of making your life count.

Kaseware customers serve those in need. Our users are people who investigate and solve horrible crimes every day; who fight the evils of human trafficking; who run into schools with gunmen inside them; who charge into smoke-filled buildings to save strangers; who dedicate their days to ensuring the safety and security of their fellow employees; and who protect organizations from physical and cyber threats. These are not easy tasks to do, but they need to be done regardless of the challenges they present.

United States Army Veteran

I was taught the importance of serving others and serving your community from a young age. When I was at Valley Forge Military Academy, I was surrounded by men and women who had all served their country, their communities, and their neighbors. Many of them were highly decorated veterans, others were retired police officers and volunteer firefighters. They had all made “helping others” a cornerstone of their character, their careers, and their lives; and as my teachers, counselors, and mentors they instilled this cornerstone into the depths of my character.

After high school, I enlisted in the United States Army where I was mentored by some of the best leaders in the world. I served in several programs that focused on developing creative and innovative missions for the National Guard to serve in a first-responder capacity. In these roles, I worked with a wide variety of public safety professionals and deployed in response to several major national events and disasters.

Finding My Mission

When I left the military, I had an enormous void in my life. I was missing my sense of purpose, mission, and belonging to which I had grown so accustomed. Since then, I have always made sure to be a part of something greater than myself by supporting and enabling others who make their work count. Since leaving the military, I have worked in positions where I fulfilled the needs of soldiers for blast-mitigating technology in Afghanistan; implemented command and control software for SWAT teams; planned security for major national events; and helped to secure schools against attacks.

A mentor and friend of mine once told me “Mission first, and your people always.” My job is my mission, and my customers are my people. At Kaseware, my mission is to get life saving technology into the hands of the people who can use it to serve, protect, and save others.
