Reflections on 2019 and Looking Ahead to 2020

By Dorian Deligeorges

As one of the original founders of Kaseware, it’s been exciting and rewarding to witness such an eventful year for our growing company. As 2019 draws to a close, I’d like to share some reflections on the year, starting with the Kaseware team.

Reflections on an Incredible Year

Over the course of the last year, we’ve nearly tripled in size. We’ve hired key personnel in several major departments, including sales, marketing, customer operations, and technology. But, more important than numbers, we’ve built a core team that truly represents our core values — integrity, dedication, innovation, and a healthy sense of humor! We’re investigators, analysts, engineers, veterans, and government leaders. We’re parents, students, volunteers, gamers, adventurists, and community leaders. Most of all, we’re a dynamic and cohesive team that treat each other like family, and I’m very proud to be a part of it.

As for victories this year, we’ve had a few. We’ve won major contracts to provide incident handling, dispatch and ops center, investigative case management, and intelligence analytics capabilities, to local law enforcement departments, fusion centers, state governments, global corporate security organizations, and even international government agencies. We’ve transitioned into a company that is focussed on execution, growth, and a product roadmap that further strengthens our position in the markets we serve.

Looking Ahead to the Next Year

While we’ve expanded considerably, we haven’t forgotten how we got here in the first place. As such, we also dedicated 2019 to reinforcing our relationships with existing customers. We’ve conducted numerous site visits and performed advanced training on new and complex features. We’ve actively solicited feedback on system capabilities, and worked directly with customers to ensure that Kaseware is exceeding their expectations.

As we look forward to the new year, I’d like to say thank you to all of our team members, including employees, customers, and partners. I’m confident that next year holds even more in store than last, and it’s great to share the journey with all of you. Happy New Year!
